Turkey and Black Bean Tacos

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 can black beans rinsed and drained
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 8 taco shells
Toppings
  • shredded lettuce
  • diced tomatoes
  • shredded cheese
  • sour cream

Equipment

  • Skillet
  • Spoon

Method
 

  1. Brown the ground turkey in a skillet over medium-high heat. Drain any excess grease.
  2. Stir in the black beans, taco seasoning, and water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Warm the taco shells according to package directions.
  4. Fill the taco shells with the turkey and black bean mixture. Add your favorite toppings.
