Tennessee Onions

Ingredients
  

Onions
  • 2 large Yellow Onions sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper

Equipment

  • Skillet
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Method
 

  1. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced onions to the skillet.
  3. Cook, stirring occasionally, until onions are softened and lightly browned, about 15-20 minutes.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Serve hot.

Notes

You can add a pinch of sugar to help caramelize the onions if desired.
