Spinach Artichoke Wontons and Party Platter

  • Nonstick cooking spray
  • 12 4-1/2-inch square wonton wrappers
  • 1 container Spinach & Artichoke Dip (10 ounces)
  • 1 Egg, beaten
For the Platter
  • Cheese
  • Cashews, pistachios, peanuts
  • Clementines
  • Honeycomb
  • Vegetable chips
  • Store-bought quiche
  • Smoked salmon
  • Marinated olives and marinated mushrooms
  • Cocktail shrimp
  • Assorted crackers
  • Salami
  • Creamy dip of your choice
  • Pomegranate seeds To garnish the dip
  • Chocolate-covered pretzels
  • Mini cannoli
  • Fun, festive cookies

Equipment

  • Rimmed baking pan

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a rimmed baking pan with cooking spray.
  2. Place wonton wrappers on a work surface. Place 1 heaping tablespoon of dip in the center of each wrapper.
  3. Use your finger to brush beaten egg along the edges of one wrapper. Lift all 4 corners of the wrapper and pinch the corners together at the top. Pinch the edges and corners of the wonton together to seal it. Repeat this process with the remaining wontons.
  4. Transfer the wontons to the prepared baking pan. Spray them with additional cooking spray.
  5. Transfer the pan to the oven and bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until the wontons are golden brown.
  6. Build a large platter using the baked wontons and the rest of the platter ingredients.
