Method
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Brush this mixture evenly over the top and sides of the salmon fillets.
- In the same small bowl, combine the softened butter, honey, and lemon juice until well mixed to create the glaze.
- Spread about one teaspoon of the honey butter glaze over the top of each salmon fillet.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time depends on the thickness of your fillets.
- Remove from the oven. If desired, brush with any remaining glaze before serving immediately.
Notes
You can adjust the amount of honey for a sweeter glaze. This salmon pairs well with steamed green beans or a side salad.
