Ingredients

For the Salmon
  • 4 pieces Salmon fillets (about 6 oz each) Skin on or off
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
For the Honey Butter Glaze
  • 4 tbsp Butter Softened
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice Freshly squeezed

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Small bowl

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Brush this mixture evenly over the top and sides of the salmon fillets.
  4. In the same small bowl, combine the softened butter, honey, and lemon juice until well mixed to create the glaze.
  5. Spread about one teaspoon of the honey butter glaze over the top of each salmon fillet.
  6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time depends on the thickness of your fillets.
  7. Remove from the oven. If desired, brush with any remaining glaze before serving immediately.

Notes

You can adjust the amount of honey for a sweeter glaze. This salmon pairs well with steamed green beans or a side salad.
