Simple Lemon Herb Baked Salmon

Ingredients
  

  • 2 fillets Salmon About 6 ounces each
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 medium Lemon Sliced thinly
  • 1 tsp Dried dill
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/8 tsp Black pepper

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Aluminum foil

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Brush the tops of the salmon fillets with olive oil.
  4. Sprinkle the fillets evenly with dried dill, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Arrange the thin lemon slices over the top of each salmon fillet.
  6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

You can substitute fresh herbs like parsley or thyme for the dried dill if you prefer.
