- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Lightly season the cubed chicken with salt and pepper. Use less salt because the soy sauce contains sodium.
- Add the chicken to the skillet and brown on one side for about 3 to 4 minutes.
- While the chicken browns, prepare the glaze. Whisk the honey, soy sauce, garlic, and red pepper flakes, if using, in a small bowl until combined.
- Turn the chicken pieces over. Add the sauce to the pan and toss to coat the chicken. Cook for 4 to 5 more minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
- Serve the chicken with steamed rice. Top with green onions, sesame seeds, and a squeeze of lime juice if you want.
Notes
The small chicken pieces cook fast. Watch them closely to avoid overcooking.
