Method
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Rub them with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Place the chicken thighs skin-side down in the hot skillet. Sear for 5-7 minutes until the skin is golden brown and crispy.
- Flip the chicken thighs. Add the apple cider, rosemary sprigs, minced garlic, and butter to the skillet. Bring the liquid to a simmer.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove the skillet from the oven. Discard the rosemary sprigs. Spoon the pan sauce over the chicken before serving.
