Parmesan Crusted Salmon

Ingredients
  

Salmon
  • 4 fillets Salmon fillets (about 6 oz each) Skin on or off
Crust Topping
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Dried parsley
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

  • Baking sheet
  • Small bowl

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, garlic powder, dried parsley, salt, and pepper until combined.
  4. Spread the Parmesan mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet, pressing gently so it adheres.
  5. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and the topping is golden brown and bubbly. Cooking time depends on the thickness of your fillets.
  6. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.

Notes

You can substitute Dijon mustard for the mayonnaise if you prefer a sharper flavor in the topping.
