Servings: 4 people
Course: Dinner
Cuisine: American

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs chicken thighs bone in, skin on
  • 1 tbsp garlic parsley salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley garnish

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Oven

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
  2. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. This helps the skin crisp.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the garlic parsley salt, paprika, and ground black pepper.
  4. Rub the spice mixture evenly over all surfaces of the chicken thighs.
  5. Place the seasoned chicken thighs skin-side up on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit (74 degrees Celsius) and the skin is golden brown and crisp.
  7. Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra crispy skin, you can place the baking sheet in the oven while it preheats.
