Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
  3. In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, vegetable oil, and eggs until well combined.
  4. Stir the pumpkin puree, orange juice, and vanilla extract into the wet ingredients.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix with a spatula until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

You can add 1/2 cup of chopped nuts or chocolate chips to the batter for extra texture and flavor. This bread is best served at room temperature.
