Low-Carb Oven Dish

Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 500 g Ground chicken
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
For the Topping
  • 1 cup Broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup Heavy cream

  • Baking dish
  • Skillet

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground chicken with the chopped onion and minced garlic. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Spread the chicken mixture evenly in a baking dish.
  4. Top the chicken with broccoli florets.
  5. Pour the heavy cream over the broccoli and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the broccoli is tender.

Notes

Serve hot. You can add other low-carb vegetables like cauliflower or bell peppers.
