- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Add the sliced steak and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated steak in a single layer, cooking in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
- Cook the steak for 2-3 minutes per side, until browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet.
- Divide the cooked rice between two bowls. Top with the Korean BBQ steak.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
You can add other vegetables like sautéed onions or bell peppers to your bowl.
