Ina Garten's Chicken Casserole

Ingredients
  

For the Casserole
  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup 10.5 ounce
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup crushed butter crackers like Ritz
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, parsley, and cheddar cheese. Mix well.
  3. Pour the chicken mixture into a baking dish.
  4. In a small bowl, combine the crushed crackers and melted butter. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the chicken mixture.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
