- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and browned.
- While the meatballs are baking, prepare the sauce. In a small saucepan, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, ketchup, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and minced garlic.
- Heat the sauce over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it simmers and thickens slightly, about 5-7 minutes.
- Once the meatballs are cooked, add them to the saucepan with the sauce. Toss gently to coat evenly.
- Serve the honey garlic meatballs warm.
Notes
You can garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving for extra flavor and visual appeal.
