- Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- While the pasta cooks, brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute more until fragrant.
- Pour in the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, and beef broth. Stir to combine.
- Add the oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Bring the sauce to a simmer.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover, and let the sauce simmer for at least 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve the beef sauce over the cooked pasta.

You can add vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms to the sauce for extra nutrients.
