- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add ground turkey and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned. Drain off any excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and cook until softened, about 3-5 minutes.
- Stir in minced garlic, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook for 1-2 minutes more, until fragrant.
- Spoon the turkey mixture into the lettuce leaves.
- Top with your favorite optional toppings and serve immediately.
Notes
You can substitute ground chicken or pork for the turkey. Adjust seasonings to your preference.
