Hawaiian Grilled Pork Chops

Ingredients
  

For the Marinade
  • 1 cup pineapple juice unsweetened
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
For the Pork Chops
  • 4 pork chops bone-in or boneless, about 1-inch thick

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, grated ginger, minced garlic, and sesame oil.
  2. Place the pork chops in the bowl with the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the pork chops from the marinade, letting any excess drip off. Discard the remaining marinade.
  5. Grill the pork chops for 5-6 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) and they are cooked through.
  6. Let the pork chops rest for a few minutes before serving.
