Greek Chicken Tenders

These Greek chicken tenders are marinated in lemon, oregano, and garlic, then baked until golden brown. They are a healthy and flavorful alternative to fried chicken.

Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 1.5 lbs chicken breast cut into strips
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp dried oregano
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the chicken strips to the bowl and toss to coat evenly with the marinade. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Arrange the marinated chicken strips in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and lightly golden brown.
  6. Serve hot.

Serve these Greek chicken tenders with a side of tzatziki sauce, a Greek salad, or pita bread for a complete meal.
