Ginger Soy Glazed Cod

Ingredients
  

For the Glaze
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Freshly grated ginger
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
For the Cod
  • 4 Cod fillets about 6 oz each
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
For Garnish (Optional)
  • Sesame seeds
  • Chopped green onions

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, grated ginger, and minced garlic.
  3. Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil. Place the cod fillets in the dish and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Pour the ginger soy glaze evenly over the cod fillets.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cod is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of the fillets.
  6. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions, if desired.
