Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta

A simple and delicious chicken pasta dish with garlic and Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients
  

For the Pasta
  • 8 oz Pasta e.g., fettuccine, penne
For the Chicken
  • 1 lb Chicken breast cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup Chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1/4 cup Parsley chopped, fresh
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Pot

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. While pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken pieces to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sauce. Toss to combine.
  8. Stir in chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve immediately.

Notes

You can add vegetables like broccoli or spinach to this dish for extra nutrition.
