Ingredients
  

For the Skillet
  • 1 head cauliflower cut into florets
  • 8 oz mushrooms sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add cauliflower florets to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they begin to soften.
  3. Add sliced mushrooms and minced garlic to the skillet. Continue to cook for another 8-10 minutes, stirring frequently, until mushrooms are browned and cauliflower is tender-crisp.
  4. Season with salt and black pepper. Stir to combine.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

You can add other seasonings like onion powder or red pepper flakes for extra flavor. This dish pairs well with grilled chicken or fish.
