Garlic Butter Chicken Thighs

Ingredients
  

  • 5 chicken thighs skin on and bone in Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 5 cloves garlic crushed
  • Fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Place the chicken thighs skin-side down in the hot skillet. Cook for about 10 to 12 minutes until the skin is browned and crisp.
  4. Flip the chicken thighs and reduce the heat to medium-low. Cook for another 15 to 18 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  5. Add the butter and crushed garlic to the skillet. Baste the chicken with the melted butter and garlic mixture as it finishes cooking.
  6. Remove the chicken from the skillet. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Cooking time may vary based on the thickness of the chicken thighs. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness.
