Ingredients

For the Beef Bites
  • 1 lb Beef sirloin steak cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
Garnish (Optional)
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley chopped

Equipment

  • Skillet
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Method

  1. Pat the beef cubes dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add beef cubes to the hot skillet in a single layer. Sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Do not overcrowd the pan; cook in batches if necessary.
  4. Remove beef from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook, stirring, until the garlic is fragrant, about 1 minute.
  6. Return the beef to the skillet. Toss to coat the beef in the garlic butter sauce.
  7. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, or until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

You can adjust the amount of garlic to your preference. This recipe is great served as an appetizer or as a quick main dish with a side salad or rice.
