Ingredients

For the Beef Bites
  • 1 lb Beef sirloin steak cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
For the Garlic Butter Sauce
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley chopped

Equipment

  • Skillet
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Method

  1. Pat the beef cubes dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef cubes in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until browned. Do not overcrowd the pan; cook in batches if necessary.
  3. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Reduce the heat to medium. Add butter to the same skillet. Once melted, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  5. Return the beef to the skillet. Toss to coat the beef in the garlic butter sauce.
  6. Stir in the chopped parsley. Serve immediately.

Notes

You can serve these beef bites on their own, with toothpicks for easy handling, or over rice or pasta.
