  • 1 lb Beef sirloin steak thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
For the Garlic Butter Sauce
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup Beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper freshly ground
For Serving
  • 2 cups Cooked rice
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Saucepan

Method

  1. In a bowl, toss the sliced beef with soy sauce and cornstarch. Set aside.
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the beef to the skillet and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes. Stir in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce thickens slightly.
  4. Serve the garlic butter beef over cooked rice. Garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

You can substitute other cuts of beef like flank steak or skirt steak. Ensure the beef is thinly sliced against the grain for tenderness.
