Garlic Butter Beef

This recipe features tender beef coated in a rich garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Beef sirloin cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 4 tbsp Butter unsalted
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup Beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp Parsley chopped, for garnish
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper

Method
 

  1. Season the beef pieces with salt and pepper.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook until browned on all sides. Remove beef from skillet and set aside.
  3. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Pour in the beef broth and soy sauce. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in the cornstarch mixture and cook until the sauce thickens, about 1-2 minutes.
  6. Return the beef to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Cook for another minute until heated through.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
