  • 6 golden delicious apples peeled and chopped
  • 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
  • 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tsp lemon juice
Crisp Topping
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup old fashioned oats quick oats can be used
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter diced into small cubes

Equipment

  • 8x8 baking dish

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 F degrees.
  2. Butter an 8x8 baking dish, or spray it with non-stick cooking spray. Set the dish aside.

Notes

You can use apple slices instead of chopped apples if you prefer a different texture in your filling.
