- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry using paper towels. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, dried dill, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the oil mixture evenly over the top and sides of each salmon fillet.
- Place a few thin slices of lemon on top of each fillet.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time depends on the thickness of your fillets.
- Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
Notes
You can substitute the dried dill with fresh herbs like parsley or chives if you prefer. For a richer flavor, you can add a thin layer of Dijon mustard under the oil mixture before baking.
