Ingredients
  

For the Chickpeas
  • 2 cans (15 oz each) chickpeas rinsed and thoroughly dried
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, toss the dried chickpeas with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the seasoned chickpeas in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Roast for 25-30 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through, until the chickpeas are golden brown and crispy.
  5. Let the chickpeas cool on the baking sheet for about 10 minutes. They will become crispier as they cool.

Notes

Store cooled crispy chickpeas in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. For extra flavor, you can add other spices like cumin, chili powder, or onion powder.
