- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Cook the pork sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain off any excess grease. Add the diced onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Spread the thawed hash brown potatoes evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Spoon the cooked sausage and onion mixture over the hash browns.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the sausage and hash browns.
- Sprinkle the shredded Cheddar cheese over the top.
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the cheese is melted and lightly browned. Let stand for 5 minutes before cutting and serving.
Notes
You can substitute turkey sausage for pork sausage if desired. This dish reheats well for leftovers.
