Ingredients
  

For the Casserole
  • 1 pound cooked chicken shredded or diced
  • 10 ounces frozen spinach thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup 10.5 ounce
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Optional Topping
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet, combine the cooked chicken, thawed spinach, cream of mushroom soup, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the bread crumbs and melted butter. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the top of the casserole.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
  6. Let the casserole rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

You can add other vegetables like mushrooms or onions to this casserole. Serve hot with a side salad or crusty bread.
