  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

  4. Roll the dough into 24 small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Using your thumb or the end of a wooden spoon, make an indentation in the center of each dough ball.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, chopped chives, garlic powder, and salt until well combined.
  7. Spoon about 1/2 teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture into each indentation.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown and the filling is heated through.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

You can add a pinch of paprika to the cream cheese mixture for color. These appetizers can be made ahead of time and reheated before serving.
