Method
- Cook the orzo pasta according to package directions. Drain the pasta and set it aside.
- In the same skillet or pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and cook for about one minute until fragrant. Do not let the garlic brown.
- Stir in the cooked orzo, Parmesan cheese, and milk. Mix well until the cheese is melted and the sauce coats the pasta.
- Season with salt and pepper. Stir in the fresh parsley.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
You can add a splash more milk if the sauce seems too thick. This recipe is easily doubled for larger families.
