- In a bowl, combine the thinly sliced beef with soy sauce and cornstarch. Mix well and set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced onion and bell peppers. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender.
- Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Push the vegetables to the side of the wok. Add the marinated beef to the center and stir-fry until browned.
- Pour in the beef broth and oyster sauce. Stir everything together and cook for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Stir in the sesame oil. Remove from heat.
- Serve the beef and pepper mixture over cooked rice.
Notes
You can add other vegetables like broccoli florets or snap peas. Adjust soy sauce and oyster sauce to your taste.
