- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with foil for easier cleanup.
- In a small bowl, mix together the paprika, kosher salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper to create the spice rub.
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Rub the spice mixture evenly over all surfaces of the chicken thighs.
- Place the seasoned chicken thighs skin-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the chicken from the oven and brush the tops generously with the BBQ sauce.
- Return the chicken to the oven and bake for another 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F (74 degrees C) and the sauce is slightly caramelized.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving with extra BBQ sauce, if desired.
