Apple Cinnamon Smoothie

A quick and healthy smoothie perfect for breakfast or a snack.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium apple cored and roughly chopped
  • 1/2 cup milk or non-dairy alternative
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup, optional
  • 3-4 ice cubes ice cubes

Method
 

  1. Add the chopped apple, milk, yogurt, cinnamon, and honey (if using) to your blender.
  2. Add the ice cubes.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more milk. If it's too thin, add a few more ice cubes.
  4. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.

Notes

For a thicker smoothie, you can use frozen apple chunks. You can also add a tablespoon of oats for extra fiber.
