- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed pretzels, 1 cup of sugar, and melted butter. Press this mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Bake the crust for 10 minutes. Let it cool completely.
- In another mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until well combined.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled pretzel crust.
- In a separate small bowl, toss the chopped apples with 1/4 cup of sugar and cinnamon.
- Spoon the apple mixture over the cream cheese layer.
- Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
This salad is best served chilled. You can adjust the amount of cinnamon to your preference.
